Anti-Bullying Ambassadors

We now have 35 peer supporters, 22 cyber mentors and 10 peer mediators.  The Peer supporters are trained to support and help people who have been bullied/report bullying.  The Cyber mentors not only work for school but also for the cybermentors website.  They support, help and advise those people who use electronic media for communicating in how to remain safe.  The Peer mediators have been trained to mediate between victims and bullies, where appropriate in school allowing both the victim and the bully to fully appreciate the outcomes of their actions.  These will add to our current provision.  Any of these students can act as a one to one mentor supporting pupils and will be involved in duty rotas around school, assemblies and promotion of our Anti Bullying initiative.
