On Friday 23rd October Year 7 set off from Ralph Thoresby to Golden Acre Park to raise money for our residential. Armed with raincoats and wellies we set off enthusiastically. The good weather meant that we could have our packed lunches outside and play some games before returning for hot chocolate at school. We have raised over £500 for our residential. Thank you to all parents and their friends for sponsoring people.

Harriette Moran beat 9 other schools to be awarded Leeds Rotary Club's Young Chef 2009. Taking place at Thomas Danby, Hattie produced a healthy two course meal under the watchful eye of a Michelin Star Chef.
She won a full set of professional chef whites and a place in the regional final at Betty's in Harrogate in Jan 2010.
Well Done Hattie!!!
