Parental Engagement

There are a number of ways in which you can engage with Ralph Thoresby School as a parent or carer. If you have a specific issue you wish to discuss, please contact the school directly (details in the contacts section of the website). We are always keen to hear your views and work together to make the school even better. If you would like to get more involved in school life there are two groups which may interest you:

Parents’ / Carers’ Forum

The parents’ forum meets once a term (dates and themes below) to discuss school issues such as communication or the changing nature of the curriculum. All parents and carers are welcome to attend and can suggest agenda items. The aim is that items for discussion will come from our wider community but the school will usually suggest a lead topic to promote discussion.

Wednesday 6th December – The Ralph Thoresby Curriculum

Wednesday 14th March – Safeguarding at Ralph Thoresby

Wednesday 13th June – to be announced

Friends of Ralph Thoresby (FORT)

The Friends of Ralph Thoresby is our emerging parents and friends group. This group acts as a social and support network for parents who want to get involved and support the life of the school.

The next FORT meeting is on Wednesday 6th December 6pm - 7.00pm
